Erik Hulings has more than 45 years of experience in financial services and banking. At Quassar Capital, he helps guide the firm’s strategy, institutional relationships, and growth.
Mr. Hulings has held senior positions at Fundation as Vice President of Global Services, at The Rockefeller Foundation as Chairman of Public Relations, and at Bank Alfalah Limited as Chief Executive Officer.
Jeff Williams is a non-executive co-founder with more than three decades of experience in banking and asset management.
Mr. Williams was a Managing Director at Bridgewater Associates and served as Vice President, Operations and Asset Management at RWE from 2009 to 2011. From 2004 to 2009, he was Chief Financial Officer of Bank of America, following five years as Chief Investment Officer at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. He also held positions at Lehman Brothers as Vice President of Alternative Investments and at First Bank as Financial Controller.
Mr. Williams earned degrees in Economics and Finance from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Martin A. Cabrera leads Quassar Capital’s corporate strategy and operating execution, setting the firm’s overall direction. His career spans more than 21 years in corporate finance, investment management, and advisory work.
Mr. Cabrera serves on the Finance and Government Relations Executive Committee for L3Harris Technologies’ Development and Defense divisions. From 2020 to 2022, he was Deputy CFO and Vice President of Alternative Investments at BHE Natural Gas, a Berkshire Hathaway Energy subsidiary. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Investments and Controller at Coca-Cola Consolidated.
Mr. Cabrera has advised banks, multinational companies, and governments. He previously served on the boards of Asante Africa Foundation and Magic Bus India Foundation, where his work included strategic partnerships and institutional relations.
Mr. Cabrera completed advanced studies in finance at Harvard Business School and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Henry Hart is a co-founder of Quassar Capital and Chief Financial Officer of Associated British Foods, where he oversees financial strategy, capital structure, and operational control across its international businesses.
Before joining Associated British Foods, Mr. Hart was Chief Financial Officer of George Weston Foods, overseeing financial planning, operating efficiency, and strategic investment decisions across Australasia.

Carter Overton directs Quassar Capital’s investment strategy and asset allocation. He also oversees the portfolio management team.
Before joining Quassar, Mr. Overton was Chief Investment Officer at Bank of America from 2014 to 2017. From 2009 to 2014, he was Investments Manager at Raya Holding for Financial Investments, following a position as Investment Risk Manager at Cargills Bank Limited. He began his investment career in 1996 at Cargill, where he was Investment Controlling Manager.
Mr. Overton holds degrees in Economics and Finance from Washington State University.
Joel T. Slamp oversees Quassar Capital’s operating infrastructure, corporate governance, administrative risk management, and operational efficiency. He also serves as a Business Advisor to the Board of Directors of Johnson Controls.
Mr. Slamp was a Senior Director at Morgan Stanley. From 2007 to 2015, he worked with the National Security Agency in defense civilian and counterterrorism intelligence roles. His financial services career also includes positions as Senior Vice President at Citi and Senior Associate at UBS.
Mr. Slamp studied Economics and Mathematics at Johns Hopkins University and Manhattan University.
Nicole Dooley leads Quassar Capital’s legal function, including compliance, corporate governance, and regulatory matters.
Before joining Quassar, Ms. Dooley was Senior Legal Officer for the United States and Canada at Sony. From 2013 to 2019, she held positions in the United States Senate as Infrastructure Advisor and Government Policy Advisor. She also served as Professor of Government Law at Harvard Law School from 2015 to 2017.
Her career also includes positions at Clifford Chance and PwC. Ms. Dooley holds a J.D./Ph.D. from Harvard Law School.
Andrea Schwartz oversees the operating infrastructure supporting Quassar Capital’s settlement and custody processes, technology systems, and transaction operations.
From 2013 to 2017, Ms. Schwartz was Chief Operations Officer at BNP Paribas in London. Earlier, she was Operations Manager for the bank in the United States, following nine years at Citi.
Ms. Schwartz earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and an Executive MBA with a concentration in Finance and Economics from Yale School of Management.
Karina Riquelme leads Quassar Capital’s compliance function, including anti-money-laundering policies, regulatory risk, and relationships with supervisory authorities.
Before joining Quassar, Ms. Riquelme spent seven years as a Corporate Partner at Kirkland & Ellis, advising private equity funds and financial institutions on cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory matters. At Quassar, she first served as Legal Counsel Manager before moving into her current role.
Ms. Riquelme holds degrees in Finance and Law (Juris Doctor) from the University of Miami.
Craig Mosier oversees credit, market, operational, and liquidity risk across Quassar Capital’s investment strategies.
Before joining Quassar, Mr. Mosier spent 38 years at PNC Bank. During his tenure, he held senior positions in risk, credit, and finance, including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President of Global Fraud Risk Management.
Mr. Mosier holds an MA/MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
John Connaghan leads Quassar Capital’s legal work across fund structuring, litigation, corporate law, and regulatory matters. He also serves as an Independent Advisor at DLA Piper.
Mr. Connaghan spent six years as a Senior Associate at Skadden. His legal career also includes positions as Foreign Associate Attorney at Samsung and Counsel at MasterCard.
Mr. Connaghan has taught Ethics & Compliance at Stanford Law School. He holds a BBA from Stanford University, a JD/MBA from Stanford Law School, and an MBA from the University of Basel.
Ryan Thompson directs Quassar Capital’s technology strategy, including systems infrastructure, cybersecurity, and the firm’s digital roadmap. He also serves as an R&D advisor to Mistral AI.
Before joining Quassar, Mr. Thompson was Chief Technology Officer at Barclays in London. He previously served as Director of Software Development at Lenovo and Head of New Technology Development and Native Software Modeling at Dell. He also worked as Digital Transformation Manager at Wells Fargo.
Mr. Thompson holds degrees in Computer Science and Software Engineering and an MS in Technology Management from Georgetown University.
Christopher Reynolds leads Quassar Capital’s operational intelligence function, covering quantitative geopolitical risk, cyberintelligence, and security protocols that support institutional financial decision-making.
Before joining Quassar, Mr. Reynolds was Chief Technology Officer at Northrop Grumman and worked as an Intelligence Planner at KBR. He previously spent 13 years in the U.S. Army.
His military assignments included Intelligence Officer in Charge (S2) for the 93rd Military Police Battalion and Deputy Collection Manager for the 1st Armored Cavalry Division. In 2007, he served in Iraq coordinating joint intelligence-fusion operations under the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). He also worked with 18 Military Training Teams in Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Mexico.
Mr. Reynolds received specialized training in Military Intelligence, Geopolitical Strategy, and Systems Analysis through U.S. Armed Forces institutions.
Joey Piscitelli leads Quassar Capital’s capital development and investor relations, including fundraising, institutional relationships, and strategic stakeholder partnerships.
Before joining Quassar, Mr. Piscitelli was Vice President of Investor Relations at Bank of America. From 2011 to 2024, he was Vice President of Corporate & Institutional Banking at Fifth Third Bank. His earlier positions include Chief Financial Officer of Huntington National Bank and Director of Institutional Relations at Goldman Sachs from 1999 to 2004.
Mr. Piscitelli completed postgraduate study at the University of Pennsylvania.
Keith Brennan leads Quassar Capital’s corporate planning, growth initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions.
From 2011 to 2022, Mr. Brennan was Vice President of Corporate Strategy & M&A at Canadian Pacific Kansas City, where his work included valuation, transaction structuring, and strategic asset integration. He also served as a Senior Partner at PwC, focusing on infrastructure projects, operational optimization, and corporate tax planning.
Mr. Brennan completed executive education in Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
Katie Rosner leads Quassar Capital’s corporate communications, including institutional reputation, public relations, brand, media, and investor engagement.
Before joining Quassar, Ms. Rosner was Vice President of Corporate Communications at People’s United Bank. From 2016 to 2017, she worked as a Managing Director, leading strategic communications programs for companies and financial institutions. She previously served as Director & Executive Media Trainer at ABC.
Ms. Rosner studied Communications and Business at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Steve Dickson leads Quassar Capital’s private capital activities, including alternative investment vehicles and the origination and execution of private-market transactions.
Mr. Dickson held senior banking positions in London as Senior Managing Director at Lloyds Bank and Managing Director at Santander UK. He also served as Vice President of Assets at Deutsche Bank.
From 2014 to 2017, Mr. Dickson was a Board Advisor to Cargill and also advised Tesco PLC. Mr. Dickson completed postgraduate study at Duke University.
Carson Winchell leads Quassar Capital’s algorithmic trading activities, including quantitative execution, trading models, and predictive analysis of market microstructure.
Mr. Winchell moved into financial markets in 2009 after working in aerospace engineering and scientific research. His earlier work included positions as a CFD Software Developer and Engineer at Bombardier, an Aerospace Engineer with NASA, and a cosmological analysis researcher at the University of Arizona’s Steward Observatory.
In financial services, he was Head of Algorithmic Execution and Routing at Merrill Lynch and Head of Quantitative Research at Rothschild & Co Redburn from 2015 to 2018. He later became Head of Algorithmic Trading & Development at Nomura in London.
Mr. Winchell completed postgraduate study in Astrophysics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
